Knicks, Immanuel Quickley could miss the first home game

The Knicks will know more about rookie Immanuel Quickley’s hip pointer on Thursday when he is examined by team doctors. But a sports therapist not associated with the Knicks believes Quickley will be out for at least this weekend’s games at Madison Square Garden.

“You don’t come back to these the next day,” said the therapist, who has worked for other NBA teams. “It probably won’t be available this weekend.”

The Knicks will play their first home game on Saturday against Philadelphia and on Sunday against Milwaukee.
