Knicks guard looks agile and ready to bounce back from debilitating injury

The New York Knicks could certainly benefit from the return of Miles McBride, and recent footage of the two-way forward shooting the layup shows the progress of his recovery.

According to New York Basketball, McBride was on the court before the game against the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center on Saturday and took a few shots before the game. The West Virginia product showed off his nice shot in several areas of the floor (h/t New York Knicks’ Jed Katz on SI).

The Knicks (9-7) won four straight before losing their last game to the Jazz on Saturday. New York might have had a better chance of fighting Utah in their 121-106 loss had McBride been active, as their bench totaled a disappointing 16 points in the game.

The 24-year-old talent sat out the entire five-game series, last appearing in the Knicks’ 124-123 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Nov. 13 before suffering from patellofemoral syndrome, according to SNY (via Yahoo Sports).
