This is the New York Knicks the basketball world has been waiting to see. The Knicks (10-7) have had some impressive wins this year. However, their 145-118 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Monday night was their coming-out party as a true championship unit. Nuggets coach Mike Malone was well aware of what he was witnessing.
According to New York Basketball, after the game Malone couldn’t help but acknowledge how great New York’s offense was and gave credit to Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau:
“I hope all the Tom Thibodeau haters who say he doesn’t coach offense really appreciate their team, because they’re elite on offense,” Malone told the media.
