Knicks, Carmelo Anthony reportedly have ‘mutual interest’

It seems likely the New York Knicks could bring Carmelo Anthony back to the team after three years.

As Ian Begley of SNY reports, there is ‘mutual interest’ between the two sides to work together again.

“I think there’s going to be mutual interest there. We’ve talked about it for a while now. Some teams expect him to end up back in New York.

I’m not going that far yet, but I’m sure that they will have discussions about Carmelo returning home to the Knicks,” Begley reports.

Anthony, who played for the Portland Trail Blazers last year, spent six years with the Knicks (2011-2017).
