The New York Knicks recently re-signed one of their most promising young talents with the NBA and G League.
The Knicks signed another two-way Exhibit 10 deal with forward Jacob Toppin on Wednesday. The Knicks shared the news on their official PR X page earlier this week:
Toppin has had a breakout season for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League in 2023-24. The 6-foot-8, 200-pound combo forward has averaged 19.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals per game on 48.2 percent field goal shooting in 25 games.
When he donned a uniform for the Knicks of NBA baseball, the 24-year-old hasn’t earned enough playing time to show what he’s made of. Toppin played just nine games averaging 4.2 minutes a night, and left with 1.4 points on 55.6 percent shooting from the field.
