The New York Knicks will most likely play without starting point guard Jalen Brunson against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, according to Tommy Beer of Basketball News.
“The Knicks list Jalen Brunson (left ankle sprain) as questionable for Monday’s game vs. Toronto,” Beer tweeted Sunday.
Jalen Brunson injured his ankle during the Knicks’ 133-123 loss to the Boston Celtics last weekend. Brunson tied RJ Barrett with a game-high 23 points before suffering an injury. New York was unable to contain Derrick White, who finished with 30 points. Big man Kristaps Porzingis scored 21 points Saturday in his return from injury.
