Knicks Back On Track: ‘We’re Playing Unselfish Basketball’

The Knicks have won five of six games and are back on track, even without injured starting forwards Julius Randle and OG Anunoby, and injured center Mitchell Robinson.

A big reason has been the continued fantastic play of All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson, as well as fellow defenseman Donte DiVincenzo (31 points in Saturday’s win over the Nets).

“I’m just trying to make the right play. Be aggressive,” DiVincenzo told reporters.

Center Isaiah Hartenstein added 17 points and nine rebounds and said he is starting to feel healthy again. He has been plagued by an Achilles tendon problem for much of the season.

“We’re playing more unselfish basketball right now and that’s fun for me,” Hartenstein said. “It allows me to do what I was brought there to do.”
