The last few decades of New York Knicks failures have led the New York franchise to be the most targeted and harassed of fake news and trolls. The last one was on April 1st. Giannis Antetokummpo would have had some fun with New York Knicks fans when he published and then deleted a photo on his Instagram of him in a Knicks jersey. We don’t know if it was Giannis Antetokummpo who published that photo, but it is the demonstration that, even if it was a joke, that photo was another blow for the Knicks.
The failures of recent decades have led the Knicks to be one of the most trolled teams in the NBA. By now the Knicks fans have got used to it. The last few years of the Knicks have been tremendous, made of wrong choices and total failures. Still, the Knicks are always a respected franchise and many expect the definite resurrection. Every year the names of the big stars of the NBA are linked to the Knicks. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are the last players who have been connected to the Knicks, but in the end none of them arrived in New York.
The history of the Knicks, however, speaks of a franchise that wrote the history of the NBA. Leaving aside the past 20 years, the Knicks have always been one of the strongest franchises. Right now though, New York is experiencing one of the lowest points in its history. Every year we hope for a reconstruction, we hope this time is the good one.
