Knicks advisor Gersson Rosas has received a promotion, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who reports that Rosas now holds the title of senior vice president of basketball operations.
The news was expected, as a pair of reports had indicated that Rosas could be in line for a promotion following the departure of former general manager Steve Perry this summer.
Rosas has a lot of experience as a manager. He spent 16 years in the Rockets’ front office, had a three-month stint as GM of the Mavericks and was president of basketball operations for the Timberwolves for two years.
