The Knicks are once again facing a crucial offseason after being eliminated in this year’s playoffs. New York has looked solid for much of the season with Jalen Brunson leading the way. However, injuries plagued the roster and diminished their championship hopes.
It’s been great to see the Knicks act aggressively this season. The front office made some big trades before the deadline and significantly improved the team. But now the franchise must find a way to continue building around Brunson to give itself a chance to make a leap in next year’s NBA playoffs.
Considering this is the Knicks, we should expect them to be in the mix for a big-name free agent. Who it will be is yet to be determined. But New York is in a fantastic position to make some spectacular moves this offseason. If the front office can get the right people on board, then this team will be one to watch in the 2024-25 season.
