Brooklyn Nets star player Kevin Durant, who missed the entire 2019/2020 season due to an Achilles tendon injury, once again was asked about the New York Knicks team and did not miss a chance to mock them.
Last year free agents Durant and Kyrie Irving were expected to join the Knicks team, who have one of the most hardcore fan bases in sports, but controversially and unexpectedly signed with the fierce rivals – Brooklyn Nets.
“Fans expect players to join the Knicks because of their brand but players have grown up watching the Knicks suck and they aren’t cool anymore”, KD explained his decision to join the Nets.
