Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre laughed about the skirmish between himself and Donte DiVincenzo that ruined their 79-73 win over the New York Knicks on Sunday, March 10, at Madison Square Garden.
“It’s just frustration,” Oubre told reporters, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia. “This is a basketball game. It’s a high-energy [game]. We are in the Garden. But I have no enemies in this league. All that stuff was fun to me. I do not know why. I just laugh. Because no one will fight. So at the end of the day, I’ll see you on Tuesday, brother.
Oubre got under DiVincenzo’s skin with 4:04 left after they got trapped under the Knicks’ basket. DiVincenzo grabbed onto Oubre’s legs, sparking the brawl that also saw Isaiah Hartenstein push Oubre to the ground.
