After a bit of a rough start, the New York Knicks may have finally figured out how to play with new signing Karl-Anthony Towns as their best player, winning four straight games to improve to 14-8 and fourth in the Eastern Conference. The former Timberwolves All-Star powered the Knicks past the Hornets with 27 points and 16 rebounds. After the game, Karl-Anthony Towns praised the passion of Knicks fans, who had endured several losing seasons and playoff disappointments over the years.
“It’s magical to be here in Mecca and MSG and see the crowd react like that to a play you make,” the big man said, via Knicks Videos on X, formerly Twitter. “Fans love big plays, but here in New York it’s all about the wins.”
