Kadeem Allen was released by the Knicks

The New York Knicks have released two-way guard Kadeem Allen. The third year pro had seen action in 29 games for the franchise in the past two seasons.

Allen scored an average of 5.0 points per game for the team this season after recording 9.9 for games in 2018-19. Over the past three years, 27-year-old Allen has averaged 15.8 points per game in the G League.

Allen will leave the Knicks but that’s not to say it didn’t have an impact. Marc Berman of the New York Post tweeted that some in the organization consider him the best of the young guardians of the team.
