Julius Randle wants to end his career with the Knicks

With the best season of his career winding down – until the playoffs resume next week – Julius Randle has stated his commitment to wanting to stay with the Knicks franchise for the rest of his career.

“I love playing in New York. I want to retire as the New York Knick,” Randle said on The Victory podcast of his hopes of signing a new long-term contract with the team this summer or after becoming a free agent in 2022.

The Knicks could try to extend Randle by the end of the summer after choosing its $ 20 million squad option, but they may have to wait until 2022 if the parties need more time to agree on a deal.
