Julius Randle superstar, the Knicks deserved so much better

It could have been a wonderful night for the Knicks against the Timberwolves. New York could experience a historic evening at Madison Square Garden and greet Julius Randle author of a performance that has entered history rightfully. The Knicks lost 140-134 despite Julius Randle having the most sparkling performance of his career with 57 points.

It also seemed possible for Randle to reach Carmelo Anthony’s team record of 62 points. The Knicks could have done it, but they didn’t.

It was a disappointment for the Knicks and for Randle, but now New York is flying to Miami to get back to winning ways.
