Josh Hart trolls Tyrese Haliburton about getting trashed

All but two NBA teams currently find themselves on the outside looking in, as the 2024 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks have begun. All the other teams are in the same boat, including the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. Those two got into a fight two weeks ago.

The Pacers notably defeated the Knicks in the second round of the NBA playoffs. That was thanks to a critical Game 7 that saw the Pacers shoot a career-high 67.1% as a collective unit. After that game, Tyrese Haliburton trolled the Knicks by wearing a hoodie depicting Reggie Miller doing a choke pose. This meant inferring that the Knicks suffocated the series.

However, that troll didn’t do Haliburton any favors. He and the Pacers earned the right to face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, and would be swept by them in four games. On “The Roommates Show,” a podcast with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, Hart admitted to trolling Haliburton for getting swept.

“Damn it, couldn’t you get a win?” Hart said on the podcast. “You beat us in the seventh game, whatever, y’all are crazy. Couldn’t get a win? After three runs in the fourth?… Man, we could have done it… At least got one.”

Hart acknowledged trolling Haliburton after the series loss to the Celtics. He claimed that the entire game they were talking about, they couldn’t get a single win. Hart also said the Knicks could have gotten at least one win against Boston if they had played them.
