Jamal Crawford: The Knicks were one of my favorite places to play

Jamal Crawford is the oldest player in the Orlando bubble, old enough to remember Isiah Thomas who ran the Knicks.

At the age of 40, the new Nets signer will add leadership, versatility, target shooting and perhaps a little guardian play. Remember, this depleted Nets team is likely to send two-way man Chris Chiozza to the guard, when the reboot begins on July 31st against Magic.

Nets are Crawford’s ninth team.

“The Knicks were one of my favorite places to play – only the energy of New York fans in general is incredible,” Crawford told The Post in an email. “I am sure that with networks also that energy is surprising. Fans in that area are so passionate and so knowledgeable. “
