Jalen Brunson was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Jalen Brunson who is making a strong push to appear in his first All-Star Game appearance, received his first Player of the Week award last January after averaging 34.8 points per game and 5.8 RPG during a 3-1 week and won another Player of the Week award earlier this season in late November after his 50-point performance against the Suns. This is now the third time he has earned the honor during his Knicks tenure.

Brunson averaged 27.3 PPG, 9.3 APG and 3.3 RPG on an efficient 47% shooting from the field, 37.1% shooting from the field and a perfect 18-18. from the free throw line while being a major catalyst in the Knicks’ 4-0 week that included big wins against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers.
