How Josh Hart Rediscovered His Moment in the Knicks’ Starting Lineup

Since returning to the starting lineup on Jan. 29, the Villanova product has had three games of 20+ points and eight games with multiple steals.

Knicks Central’s Alex B. accentuated Hart’s role in the Knicks’ transition from playoff mainstays to legitimate Eastern Conference contenders:

Now that OG Anunoby is back, Hart will be needed on the Knicks’ second unit. New York will rely on its increased confidence and pace to catalyze an uptempo attack as they look to consolidate ahead of the postseason.

On Wednesday, Hart saw 39 minutes instead of the 40.7 he averaged in Anunoby’s place. He has a good reputation with coach Thibodeau and once the team returns to full strength, he will likely see an elevated role from his time on the court earlier this winter.
