Golden State Warriors can find value in the New York Knicks Guard

With every doubt hanging over the Golden State Warriors this season, the team is still determined to make the best adjustments for the franchise. One possible talent the team can take advantage of is New York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr.

With all that has happened with the Warriors this year, the team has constantly checked what works best for their list. While the team attended the Western Conference, Golden State is still in a strong position to improve its advancement. One of their main transactions involves trading D’Angelo Russell’s off-season pickup with former absolute number one Andrew Wiggins.

To add to these, a large part of their overall resources is the choice of the first round 2020 that they can use to attract valuable resources for the team.

While Eric Paschall has grown as an impressive choice for Warriors with his sensational rookie campaign, much work remains to be done for Golden State. Adding someone like Smith can be helpful for the Bay Area team for Fansided’s Blue Man Hoop. The explosive guard point was explored as one of the league’s rising stars with its incredible athleticism and energy on the floor. While he has now reached a difficult point with the New York Knicks, a different environment may be the change he needs to revitalize his career.

The Warriors need a support point guard with the load Steph Curry will have to carry on his shoulders. Having someone like Smith’s caliber can help the second unit of the Warriors since the 22-year-old has much more to offer in his young career. During Smith’s starter campaign, he averaged 15.2 points, 5.2 assists, and one game theft. Playing franchises with elite players like Klay Thompson and Curry can help Smith regain his old form now with a winning team.

As the Bay Area team continues to find what’s best for their training, it would be interesting to see how Golden State plans to plan for the coming seasons. It will be important to see how players like Smith can help contribute to the reconstruction of the Warriors.
