Former Knicks Bobby Portis accepts a two-year deal with the Bucks

Former Knicks forward Bobby Portis has accepted a two-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The Knicks turned down Portis’ option on Thursday, a move SNY’s Ian Begley said was expected, but the team was rumored to attempt to get him back on a minor deal.

Portis signed with the Knicks as a free agent prior to last season and averaged 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 66 games.
