Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert clarify, leaving Knicks’ business opportunities cold

Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have started repairing their relationship. The two spoke on the phone on Saturday to talk about their differences and it went well. At the root of the problems between the two is the spread of the coronavirus. Gobert was thoughtless when it came to mocking the virus, with players saying he was touching things in the locker room on purpose as if he were with microphones during his infamous presser. The Knicks could really use a solid point guard like Mitchell, but it doesn’t seem that they would have the chance to get him in the first place, and Jazz definitely appreciates someone like Mitchell.

However, with New York native Mitchell and his father, Donovan Mitchell Sr., who works for the Mets, it’s hard not to argue.
