As Derrick Rose is now a free agent, there are a handful of reasonable teams who may target the play of the former league MVP.
According to Steve Popper of Newsday, the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and the Phoenix Suns could be noted as reasonable teams that may offer Rose some serviceable exposure. Meanwhile, his former team, the Chicago Bulls, is also a team to watch.
Considering his age, Rose is already at the twilight stage of his career. As such, he may choose to ultimately land in a contending club to just fulfill that ultimate goal of winning a championship.
Both the Suns and Celtics are in desperate need of another point man in the wake of the departure of their primary ball handlers via trade in Chris Paul and Marcus Smart, respectively. The Lakers, for its part, may consider Rose as an insurance guard off the bench.
With the touching story that he possesses from being a superstar into a role player, Rose certainly has the support of everyone toward success moving forward.
