David Fizdale doesn’t see the Knicks fit for Chris Paul

Former Knicks coach David Fizdale thinks the addition of Chris Paul would be great for the team – and not so great for the 35-year-old All-Star point guard, who is looking to crown his career with a championship.

“I think the Knicks have to be open to a lot of different things,” Fizdale said. “Would he be perfect for them? Absolutely. I think he would suit those guys – Mitchell Robinson going to the limit, they get more spacing, more footage. Absolutely, it would fit”.

Fizdale however added: “For him, where he is in his career, I don’t think it’s a good fit for him and what he’s trying to do.”

A source recently told The Post that Chris Paul would love to be a title contender. Another report claimed that the Knicks are also on his list.
