Danilo Gallinari talks about his upcoming free agency, praises the new Knicks boss Leon Rose

In an interview with Michael Scotto for Hoops Hype, Danilo Gallinari praised everyone and everything, reiterating the sentiment of playing for a winner but did not hold back when he talked about what he is looking for for his next contract.

I absolutely want to keep playing the way I played and be a key player for a franchise. I want to be able to help these young kids who are growing up and some amazing talents. The goal, of course, as a player is to win.

Mostly Gallo is a very diplomatic interviewee. Keep things positive, cheerfully saying everything and nothing, praising everyone who came out. You can read along with the interview if you want.

If New York is in the mood to conquer Gallo, they better aspire to any star players because they might be able to get him cheap. Of course, he won’t be the missing piece without a major training round, and there’s no point in chasing a complimenting guy just by adding disparate talent. The old regimes tried to do this, which is why the Knicks are burning up front offices like the fires that are destroying the loose western states, while the current administration literally offers no guarantee that they don’t care.

In any case, Gallo also mentioned having a baby on the horizon and appreciating the challenges of parenting.
