Dakota Mathias can help the Knicks fill Mitchell Robinson’s void

The New York Knicks will lose Mitchell Robinson for at least 39 games.

The Knicks have two open seats on the roster. John Henson and Norvel Pelle were among the players on New York’s radar before the deadline.

If the club is looking to shoot, perhaps Dakota Mathias, who spent time with the Sixers earlier this season, could help fill the void, as reported by SNY.

Regardless of how the Knicks fill those two spots on the roster, they will be without Robinson for an important period of time.

New York obviously would benefit from Robinson’s circle protection for the remainder of the regular season. But the club also hoped to more fully evaluate Robinson as a starter in the coming weeks.
