If the New York Knicks orchestrate a swap for future Hall-of-Famer Chris Paul this offseason, it’s possible that his good friend and former Knick Carmelo Anthony may be joining him at Madison Square Garden.
At least that’s what SNY’s Ian Begley, who is as knowledgeable as any reporter covering the Knicks, offered as a tip in his recent episode of The Putback.
“If his friend Chris Paul is traded to the Knicks,” Begley said Wednesday. “This certainly increases the chances of Carmelo Anthony ending up here in New York.”
