As they share an ongoing bitter and deafening silence, Charles Barkley made it known that he is ready to mend fences with Michael Jordan.
After having a strong friendship, things went sour between the two Hall of Famers. In his first full season of handling the Charlotte Hornets, Jordan was criticized by Barkley for his management of the franchise.
It’s been over ten years and now, the all-time great big man is ready to bury the hatchet and regain their solid relationship.
“I probably would say (to Jordan), ‘Hey, you know, what I said, I believed. I’m sorry you took offense to it, and let’s get past this bullshit and go back to playing golf and having fun,’” Barkley told Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks.
“I thought it would blow over, to be honest with you,” Barkley added. “He’s stubborn, and I’m stubborn. That’s it.”
