Carmelo Anthony reportedly on Knicks’ ‘radar’ since March

Could the New York Knicks president Leon Rose bring Carmelo Anthony back to play in the MSG? According to NY Post, the Knicks’ newly hired president had Anthony on his radar, since March.

“Anthony has been on Rose’s radar ever since he took over the presidency in early March. Rose is Anthony’s former top client at Creative Artists Agency.”

After his team’s elimination from the playoffs, the Blazers’ veteran star took the chance to show love for his current team claiming that he hopes to stay in Portland next season.

With that in mind, Carmelo seems to prefer to play there than to return to New York. The former All-Star remained inactive for one season, after he was traded to and waived by the Bulls.

He averaged 15.4 points and 6.3 rebounds during his comeback year with the Portland Trail Blazers.
