Bucks interested on Derrick Rose ahead of February trade deadline

The Milwaukee Bucks are interested in trading for veteran guard Derrick Rose, per league insider Marc Stein.

Rose, who is a favorite of head coach Tom Thibodeau, stumbled his way out of the New York Knicks’ rotation this season, with the mentor leaning towards the presence of Jalen Brunson and Immanuel Quickley.

Rose hasn’t played a game since December 31st, and the Knicks are certainly looking for a deal to seize his remaining value.

This season, the former league MVP is averaging career lows in points (5.8) and field goal shooting (39.4%) in 26 games played.

Rose could serve as an insurance ball handler for the Bucks behind Jrue Holiday and Jevon Carter.
