Brooklyn Nets interested in RJ Hampton, if he falls to No.19

RJ Hampton is going to have many suitors in the 2020 NBA Draft with the Brooklyn Nets being the latest team to be interested in acquiring him, as Marc Berman of the NY Post reported.

In particular, the Nets may be interested in selecting the talented guard with the No. 19 of the 2020 NBA Draft. According to Berman, the Knicks believe that picking Hampton with the No. 8 pick could be a reach.

Hampton decided to bypass NCAA and play for the New Zealand Breakers last season. While he hadn’t had the numbers to improve his draft stock, averaging just 8.8 points on 41-percent shooting in 20 minutes a night at NBL, many teams are reportedly impressed with what he showcased in the draft workouts.

Several reports suggest that the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks may be interested in selecting Hampton in the upcoming Draft, which will take place on Nov. 18.
