Fox Sports’ Cowlin Cowherd pitched a trade idea for the Los Angeles Lakers to the New York Knicks. The trade in question would see Anthony Davis to the Knicks, Julius Randle and RJ Barrett to the Lakers.
“I look at a team like the New York Knicks, and they don’t have much to give, but could you get a RJ Barrett and Julius Randle for Davis? It looks awful. But RJ will give me lots of games. Randle will give me lots of games. Between the two, I’ll get pretty consistent points,” said Cowherd.
A Brunson-Davis tandem in New York could give the Knicks a real shot at winning, at least the Eastern Conference.
