Allonzo Trier still has potential for the New York Knicks

After a good start, Allonzo Trier is gone. The start had been promising, but due to RJ Barrett’s Knicks project and the involvement of the guards via the free agency in 2019, which included two shooters in Wayne Ellington and Reggie Bullock, Trier disappeared from the radar.

Despite this, Allonzo Trier still has potential for the New York Knicks.

Considering the fact that there will probably be a new head coach, like Tom Thibodeau or Kenny Atkinson, Trier’s defense can progress through development.

The fact remains that Allonzo Trier is a forward threat and can be used in any team.

If given the opportunity, Trier’s game can improve further. When it comes to instant offense over the years, players like Lou Williams, Jamal Crawford and JR Smith come to mind when they were at the peak of their career. Trier has the potential to be in the same class.
