The arrival of Leon Rose to the Knicks will not change the front office: Allan Houston and Scott Perry will continue to work in their respective roles. SNY.tv’s Ian Begley said he would “bet” that Houston and Perry would “play a somewhat form role with the Knicks. Perry has been their general manager since July 2017 when he took over from Steve Mills, who was promoted to president when Phil Jackson split from the organization. Subsequently, Mills was fired, thus opening the doors for Rose’s return. Houston appears to be a strong candidate for Mills’ replacement, but Rose officially assumed the Knicks general manager role on March 2.
