The NBA is doing what it can to correct what was clearly wrong in the Golden State’s 119-104 defeat to the New York Knicks on Thursday night.
Athletic’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater reported Friday that the NBA will nullify the second technical foul that Draymond Green was issued on Thursday, which saw him sent off in the second quarter.
After committing a turnover on an entrance pass just over a minute from the end of the second quarter, Green yelled at rookie center James Wiseman to return to defense. Referee John Butler thought Green was yelling at him and whistled at Green for a technical foul. It was the second technique of Green’s game, which led to his expulsion.
