Chicago Bulls fire head coach Jim Boylen

The Chicago Bulls have fired head coach Jim Boylen, per multiple reports. Arturas Karnisovas claimed he took a very difficult decision, but he “ultimately decided that a fresh approach and evolution in leadership was necessary”, per ESPN’s Eric Woodyard.

Boylen had two seasons remaining in his contract with the franchise. The Bulls went to finish the 2019-2020 with a 22-43 record.
