Deni Avdija could be a great addition for the Knicks

The highest international perspective in the NBA 2020 Draft is Israel’s Deni Avdija. Avdija is the modern example of what scouts and leaders are looking for in a frontcourt player.

There are always risks when drawing a player that a team has spent little time seeing in person, but almost everyone in this class can be said because of the coronavirus.

The key to his positive side, however, is what he does when the ball is in his hands and how it can help meet a real need for the New York Knicks.

Avdija has a narrow handle and an incredible field view for a player of his size and age. He tries to put his teammates on his feet and has the vision of the pitch and the passing ability to see a show develop before he does it, and then make it happen before our eyes.

A competitive player who is eager to learn and plays with strong defense intensity, Avdija could be a great addition if he is given the time to develop.

A core of RJ Barrett, Avdija and Mitchell Robinson would fit perfectly on paper.
